Alice and Jhono

It was a cold night, so cold that it would turn your heart as cold as ice…
I think that night, the weather was around -20, but even so, the room inside was warm and confortable for our two tiny friends that were going to wake up…
Alice, was the first who woke up and when she looked around, she realized out that everything around you was bigger! So, she woke the little Jhono, who was sleeping without any concern for what was happening around him, and then he said:
“What's going on?”
Alice was very scared to even try to speak. When Jhono realized what was happening, he got a bit scared too, because in the first place he could not understand why they were too small. Even so, he could not show his fear; for only thus, would frighten much more to the little Alice.
They were in the corner of the bed, which is red and it seemed a big place. Suddenly, our little friends heard some strange sounds… Like, if something around them, were crawling and it was getting close slowly to them.

… They couldn’t see very well, because the room was a bit dark, the unique light that they had, was a soft moonlight… So, our friends had the idea to turn on the lamp that was next to the window, to feel protected with such light above them, when they started their periplus, it was a like a big adventure! Through the darkness, to reach the light. Jhono told her to take his hand and whatever happens, don't let loose his hand.

So, the decision had been taken. Our little friends took course towards the light, unaware of what they would find on their way.
So, they went down the corner of the bed, using a loose pins, they found nearby. At first contact with the ground, those strange noises that seemed distant, never felt so close and suddenly, a huge spider appeared before them. It was as if that spider would have been waiting for.

Our little friends ran as fast as their little legs allowed them to.  The moon, who watched what was happening between the distance, dimly lit that spider. Being this scared. They knew that this would not be sufficient, as more and more spiders were coming swiftly toward them.

They made strenuous efforts to reach the lamp, lying near the window. Jhono did everything possible so that Alice can reach that lamp first. When they finally reached the top, they saw a lots of snowflakes falling off from the sky in a soft dance with the breeze. Many of them looked as if they had life, and it was true.  Many of them saw to our friends and flew like butterflies on a spring day without any worry. While Alice lay watching them, enthralled by her beauty. Jhono went to try to turn on that lamp. . It was difficult and those spiders were getting really close every second. Then, some snowflakes got close to the window and gave to Alice a bit of stardust. It was the first time that Alice had seen something like that. Then, Alice went with Jhono and they both could finally turn on that lamp.

Those evil spiders run away from the light… Jhono and Alice sat together, wrapping one another, while they were staring at those snowflakes... Until they fell asleep under the warm light about them.
